Safety Statement
At Tex-Fab, we are committed to safety and regulatory compliance with a goal of zero incidents. It is every employee’s prime duty to provide a safe work environment for themselves, co-workers, contractors, customers, guest and the general public. Tex-Fab uses a continuous evaluation process, we monitor all work processes 24/7 to ensure all activities are performed in the safest way possible.
Our shop requires all employees, contractors, customers, and guest wear the appropriate safety equipment; hard hat, safety glasses, Safety toe shoes, and hearing protection.
Sustainability
Here at Tex-Fab we care about the environment. We encourage our employees to think about the three pillars of sustainability: reduce, reuse, and recycle – not just during their work duties but also at home.
During plate cutting operations all unused and scrap material is recycled including the slag created during the flame cutting of plate and other steel products.
Our heat-treating furnace uses high efficiency burners and the most effective insulation in order to reduce the amount of gas required to heat the furnace and sustain the desired temperature.
Our hydrostatic test water is recycled. When you drive by our facility a prominent feature are two big blue tanks, these are our used to store our hydrostatic test water.
Tex-Fab employees take an active role in our environmentally conscience efforts. We have placed recycle bins for papers and plastic around our facility.
Tex-Fab also takes into consideration many options when purchasing materials, consumables and misc. office products to help reduce our impact on the environment.
